And, they work...for the most part! Apparently because of the sinks we chose, the drain stopper doesn't connect underneath (too short), so extensions have to be ordered. No big deal.
All of the bath vanity lights have been installed as well, and look great, if a bit odd because there is no mirror between them. :)
This afternoon we had a walk-through with our builder, Lee. He brought us up-to-date on several things:
- The front step will be poured any day.
- Carpeting has been ordered and should be in next week.
- The wood floors will get the second, and presumably final, coat, probably next Friday. The floors should look stunning after this coat.
- The door knobs and front door hardware are in, and will go in starting Monday.
- We finalized which switches will have dimmers (master bath, master main room, dining room, main floor front room) and which won't (everything else).
- Bathroom cabinet hardware will be installed soon.
- We learned the master shower floor wasn't installed as well as it should've been, and there was a sealer problem, so he has ordered the shower pan to be replaced and the floor retiled. The master shower door won't be installed until this is complete.
- We have decided to stain the front porch, and will finalize our color this week. I'm kind of nervous about how this will look, so...fingers crossed.
- The mirror guy will be back out this week to do the final measurements so we can order the mirrors.
